2. Data We Collect

• Files you submit are transmitted securely for analysis and discarded when the request completes
• Analysis history is stored locally in your browser (localStorage)
• Anonymous usage data through Google Analytics (page views, feature usage)

3. How We Process Data

When you upload a file for analysis:

• Files are processed locally in your browser first
• Processed data is sent to Google Gemini API for AI analysis
• Results are returned to your browser and optionally saved to local storage

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics: Collects anonymous usage statistics to improve our service
• Google Gemini API: Processes media for AI detection analysis; data is subject to Google's privacy policy
• Creem: Processes checkout, tax, payment, and receipt information as merchant of record. DeepFakeCheck does not receive or store full payment-card details.
• Telegram: Provides the Bot and Mini App platform, relays messages and media sent to the Bot, and processes Telegram Stars payments. We receive the Telegram user ID and limited profile fields required to provide the service.

5. Cookies

We use cookies for Google Analytics and to store your language preference. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Clear your analysis history anytime using the 'Clear All' button
• Disable Google Analytics by using browser privacy settings or ad blockers
• Request information about how your data is processed by contacting us

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures including HTTPS encryption, Content Security Policy, and secure data transmission. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the 'Last Updated' date.
